Straight stairlifts are in stock product and can be installed with in 3-4 hours. If there are any specific upgrades needed then the timelines can vary.
A shaftless elevator can be installed in as small as 43″ x 43″ cut out. For elevators with more than one floor we need at least 55″ x 55″ shaft.
Most of the shaftless elevators can be installed under 50K. The elevators with shaft cost can vary between 40-45 K and the construction cost can be from 5K – 10K.
Cairo contracting takes care of the regular maintenance and the service of all the elevators executed by them. Our team is readily available and we have a 24 hour call back policy. You will hear from our team within 24 hours of the call.
Generally all the VPLs need a 5′ x 5′ concrete pad which can be 4″ thick with a wire mesh. If the size of the VPL is larger we might recommend a 6″ thick pad with reinforcements.
Ideally the wheelchair ramp should be 1:12 which means for every inch of rise we need 1 foot ramp. For example, a 12″ high Deck will need a 12′ long ramp. However , in residential setup if you do not have the space for such ramp the building code allows the incline upto 1:8 in some cases. We recommend considering a Vertical Platform Lift if the stair height is over 38″.
Yes , stairlifts can be designed for narrow stairs as well. The standard stairlifts need 27 1/2″ wide staircases. If your staircase is less than 27″ please call our technician and they can help you with the right model you need.
